Our happy little girl is BACK!!!! She woke up this morning and ate a cup of yogurt and TWO pancakes, played in the playroom and took apart a picture frame from the foyer. You moms know how worried we get when our sweeties do not want to eat, play or tear something up. LOL She is still kinda clingy which is to be expected but feeling so much better.

OH! her happy smile totally made me tear up - happy tears :) So glad there are no other complications or infections. An ear infection would be miserable right now, huh?! Hugs to you all and a big kiss to the sweetie!
Oh yeah. I meant to ask earlier, how are your other kids all dealing with all of this? Have you had any repercussions from them? Hard questions or conversations? I'm just curious . . . .Enquiring minds and all that, you know. . .
I am so happy to hear that she is getting back to her happy toddler self! Have a wonderful Mother's Day with your girls.
And thanks for all your supportive comments on my blog!

Oh so happy to see that smile! And yeah - maybe that's even the BEST Mother's Day gift you could get.
Hugs - prayers - thoughts

I'm so excited to see your girl smiling again! I know my kids are feeling better when they start getting into things, too:)
Glad to see your news that Naomi is happy to be home & is recovering well. I'm happy to see you soon.
Thank God--that smile says it all! I have been praying for your daughter and your family!! I think I told you before--we are adopting again--after adopting Hope (also a Limb difference child) last year. We leave next Friday (6/22) to adopt our 17 month old son. He is also most likely going to face amputation of his right foot when we get home. We will be taking him to the Shriners in Philly-where Hope had her surgery. I would love to chat with you about the procedure--ups,downs,recovery, etc..
It would be so nice to know someone who has "been there!!"
