Hey. I have loved reading about your beautiful family. We are adopting Joy from BAAS. We are absolutely in love with her and cannot even comprehend how we will endure this long process. Her name will be Ruthie Joy - the Lord led me to the same scripture about one year ago and I knew that would be our daughter's name. The week we were praying about her file, I was led to the story of Mephibosheth who is crippled in both feet! and I knew! God is so intentional. Anyway, I really am interested in finding out all I can about Joy's feet. We are fine with whatever she needs - was Naomi's foot similar to hers? I would love to know why you went to Shriner. Is that something a Dr. recommended? We wonder where we should start with Ruthie. We have considered a Dr. in Birmingham and then we have been to Scottish Rite in Atlanta with our son.
