STRETCHY ARMS

She stretcheth out her hands to the poor; yea she reacheth forth her hand to the needy. Prov 31


One of my favorite animated movies is "The Incredibles" I love the mom and her stretchy arms. She can whip forth her arms in a nano-second and I am highly impressed and also very jealous of those arms. Heck I need arms like that. I can only imagine how many times a day I could use that kind of help. How about when I'm in the kitchen cooking and I hear the water running in the bathroom.......knowing it's not supposed to be on that high or that long. LOL. Why in the world didn't God make us moms with stretchy arms or another set of arms to begin with. If we'd been born that way who would think it strange.

And then the Lord showed me Prov 31 and the stretchy arms that gal has. It was His idea after all; just look at how the Proverbs woman stretches out her arms to the poor and needy. Some all the way to China......others to Eastern Europe and Africa. Here my friend Megan is stretching out her arms to grab ahold of one precious soul, beautiful Sophia.
