Transformation

In adoption the fearful become beloved
The scorned become adored
The nameless become cherished
The lonely become the laughing
and death becomes life abundant



Such truth! We have seen Naomi become so confident in walking, asking , doing anything. Certainly she was scorned in China for her infirmity and arrived at the orphange without a name, but she is loved with a fierce love in this family and adored by her sisters and brother. We have the reward of a sweet girl with hugs and kisses for us all. My one regret is that her birth family will never know the blessing she is.

Having a Coke

This is where I found her today! She pulls out all the drawers and climbs up and sits on the counters. Nothing gets in the way of something she is trying to get to. And I guess for her sake it is a good thing, but I never know where I will find her. Last week it was the bathroom sink; sitting in the sink eating toothpaste (children's of course).

She could really use a haircut about now, but I would like to let it grow.
